The curse comes in because Henley is still haunted by this killer and what happened during his arrest. I think that qualifies as a blessing and a curse-it’s a blessing because these murders resemble the crimes of a serial killer she arrested years ago. It’s DI Henley’s first day back in the field in months when these pieces are discovered.
